Technical Support Engineer

I have been working in my role as a Technical Support Engineer for Neuways since December 2016, where I look after the desktops and server of our customers. I enjoy the sound of relief from our customers when we make sure they can use their IT to get their job done.
I worked for an electronics company in Swadlincote, before I came to Neuways, which sold sensory equipment to specialise primary schools across the country. I provided IT support to primary schools across the entire Derby area, and further afield, as part of this role. This gave me a great understanding of end user reliance on fully functioning IT, and the frustrations they experience when it doesn’t work as intended.

Out of work Richard:

For hobbies I spend time painting miniature models and playing video games on my PC.
I also enjoy cooking and relaxing with my wife and our 1 ½ year old cat called Poppy.
